BRAIN BOOSTER CLUB

In a group setting, participants challenge their brains with intellectually stimulating brain exercises aimed at improving memory retention, focus and recall.

Dakim Computer Software -- A recipient of multiple awards, the Dakim BrainFitness Software is the only clinically tested brain fitness program created for people over 60 years of age. The touch screen software integrates nearly 100 different game formats -- and thousands of scientifically based exercises -- into a comprehensive program. Each exercise plays a specific role in stimulating five cognitive domains (improving memory, building a protective cognitive reserve, heightening attention, enhancing focus, and strengthening concentration). Dakim self adjusts the level of challenge based on the individualís ability.

The computers in our brain fitness center are available Monday - Friday from 9:00 am to 4:45 pm.

"Wisdom is not a product of schooling but of the lifelong attempt to acquire it." ~ Albert Einstein

The award-winning Lifelong Learning Program, established in 2001, enables seniors to continue to grow by nourishing their minds. Twice a month seniors have the opportunity to join in lectures, workshops, readings and recitals in the arts, sciences, and a myriad of philosophies. The program reminds us that growing older is an opportunity to grow wiser.
